Public comments at school board meetings

Each work group and regular board meeting opens with a public comment period. Members of the public can speak about their ideas, concerns and positions regarding our schools and district for up to three minutes. This is the only time members of the public can speak at school board meetings, although they are welcome to listen and contact members of the board outside of meetings.

If you wish to make comments to the board, you need to fill out and turn in this form. Print copies of the form are available at school board meetings. Registration opens 15 minutes before work group meetings and 30 minutes before regular board meetings, and continues until the meeting is called to order.

You can register to speak as an individual or a representative of an organization. Please do not register as a representative of SCAPE unless you are part of an organized SCAPE advocacy effort.
